At Sadequain Foundation School, we believe in fostering environmental awareness and responsibility from an early age. To commemorate Earth Day 2025, a series of well-structured and engaging activities were conducted in the Junior Section. These activities were designed to educate students about the importance of caring for the environment while encouraging them to adopt eco-friendly habits in their daily lives.
Creative Craft Activity – Earth Day Headbands

To begin the celebrations, students engaged in a creative activity where they crafted their own Earth Day headbands. Such hands-on projects help foster imagination and personal expression while reinforcing the importance of reusing materials and making thoughtful choices in everyday life.
Interactive Learning – “Passing the Globe” Game

Students took part in a dynamic learning game titled “Passing the Globe.” In this activity, a globe was passed around while music played. When the music stopped, the student holding the globe responded to an Earth-related question asked by the teacher. This engaging session encouraged students to reflect on key environmental concepts such as conservation, pollution, and sustainability, all while enhancing their critical thinking and communication skills.
Exploring the 3Rs – Reduce, Reuse, Recycle

An activity focused on the 3Rs of environmental care introduced students to the principles of Reduce, Reuse, and Recycle. Through a simple sorting exercise using labeled bins, students classified various items based on how they could best be managed to reduce waste. This activity helped develop an early understanding of responsible consumption and the importance of mindful choices.
Reflection and Awareness
To conclude the day, students participated in a brief reflection session, sharing key takeaways and expressing their thoughts on how they can contribute to protecting the Earth. Teachers emphasized the message that small actions—when taken collectively—can lead to meaningful change.
The Earth Day 2025 celebrations at Sadequain Foundation School successfully combined creativity, learning, and environmental awareness. Our junior students demonstrated curiosity, responsibility, and enthusiasm throughout the day, affirming our belief that instilling sustainable values at an early age can shape a brighter, greener future for all.
